We prepare our golden chicken broth just like mom did when we were growing up. Chicken leg quarters, bones and all go into a pot, along with onions, scallions, ginger, jujube and honey dates, and goji berries. The broth is slowly simmered for 6 hours, and the result is a deeply golden and rich broth that's perfect for your next batch of wontons, or to sip on just by itself.
